Miné Kleynhans

Miné Kleynhans’ sculptural artworks are imaginative, playful attempts to convey or typify perceived social inclinations and dispositions. They typically employ humour and satire to tease out the rich intersections between magical thinking, social ritual, religion, consumer culture, personal and collective fantasies and game playing. As an emerging artist and art project coordinator she has participated in various experimental and often large scale international creative programs. Miné graduated with her Master in Fine Art from the University of the Free State (Cum Laude) in 2017 and is currently residing in Bloemfontein.
