Emerging Artists Artworks

One of the most exciting and gratifying elements of the collaboration between UJ Art Gallery and the MTN SA Foundation over the past three years has been the Emerging Artists Development Programme. In 2020 artists between ages 21 and 35 who have not held a solo exhibition at an established gallery or museum in South Africa or abroad were invited in an open call to submit artwork in response to, or in conversation with, Willem Boshoff’s, The Blind Alphabet, Letter B: Babery to Bigeminate.
